2012 in review

What a wonderful surprise from WordPress!  Thank you!  and thank you to my top 5 commenters:

1. Jeff and Al of Red State Blue State.  I will miss reading their posts on the Cardinals and Tigers here in the MLB Blogs.   Good luck my friends.

2.  Kristen, a devoted Angel fan from her blog This is a Very Simple Game.  Love reading all she has to say about baseball her Angels and Dodgers too.  Also love reading about the  wines she is savoring.

3.  Mateo, love his ball hawking and his videos.  His last post from Target Field in the snow was great!   Minnesota looked so cold.  Glad I visited it in the Summer. Good luck in college kid!

4.  Russel of Wrigley Regular.  His tribute to Donnie Moore was touching.  I had forgotten he had committed suicide.

5.  Minoring in Baseball.  If you want to check minor league ballparks, check out Mike’s blog.  His trips with his kids are perfect.

A big thank you to all that visit my blog!  Here is to a great 2013! Cheers!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 44,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 10 Film Festivals

Happy New Year, Emma! Love the Annual Reports! Though what they all seem to confirm is the fact that I “talk” a lot, LOL! Not that that’s a problem. :) It would be cute if WordPress could put our annual stats in terms of game attendance. But I suppose that would be way too customized. Congrats on your continuing high readership, lady. I look forward to reading eveything you have to say in 2013.

I almost caught you at the end there. I knew I should have commented on the Koufax entry. I actually know someone who played against Koufax in high school. He said he threw hard and wildly. I’ll get you next year. Oh, and I know I probably should be using parentheses or something here, but I have frankly been over-using them in an entry about stat reports that may or may not include plugs for the two of you’s blogs. It also may or may not be coming out tomorrow/today in like a couple of hours.

Kristen and Mateo! Thank you for being my #2 & 3 top comenters for 2012! Always a pleasure reading you. I take wine tours vicariously thru you Kristen. I should have asked you when I was looking for a wine bottle for a Christmas gift but I ended up giving a Tommy Lasorda wine bottle. Still I can take suggestions.
.
Mateo I love your trips to the stadiums snagging baseballs. Love the one you did in the snow giving us a tour of Target Field.
.
Thank you to wordpress for doing this Year in Review. I love it! Like I mentioned before I love the stats!

All the best in 2013, Emma! I’m glad I snuck into your top commenter list, anyway!

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism
or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off? I’d truly appreciate it.
