Why are the Diamond Backs dominating the Dodgers this year?

I don’t know the answer.   Is one of those baseball misteries.  The D’Backs came into Dodger Stadium with a six game losing streak.  But the other record they had going was six straight wins against the Dodgers.  Well, make that seven now.

Dodgers wasted a good outing by Clayton Kershaw.   They lost 2-0 on Vin Scully Day.   The only good thing about yesterday was honoring Vin Scully.  Vin was the highlight, the rainbow.

Dodgers have hit some slide with the Rockies and Diamond Backs.

they are now 4 1/2 games back.

Jaime Jarrin was saying on twitter that the Giants are probably singing “La Distancia entre los dos es cada dia mas grande”     which means the same as “The distance between us grows and grows”

C’mon Dodgers snap out of it!

tonight: Trevor Cahill  for the D’Backs against Aaron Harang.

Congratulations to Jaime Jarrin!   He will return next year for his 55th year with the Dodgers.  He has signed a three year contract!   Felicidades Maestro!

It’s just one of those great baseball rivalry mysteries I guess. Sometimes the darnedest teams just seem to have your team’s number – kind of like Angels with the As. Good year or bad, the As beat the Angels way more often than they should. So nice to see Vin get the bobblehead though and I loved seeing him throw out the first pitch with all of his grandkids.

Kristen,
Is getting that too many teams are beating the Dodgers. At one time, both the Angels and Dodgers were doing well. What happened? the Baseball Gods are angry. We must pacifiy them.
