Thoughts and Prayers to Bryan Stow

My thoughts and prayers go to Giant fan Bryan Stow who is fighting for his life in a coma after he was beaten at Dodger Stadium on Opening Day.

At the moment we cannot post pictures since the MLB blog is under construction so here is the link of the sketch of the two guys that assaulted Bryan Stow. The suspects are believed to be between 18 to 25 years.

update: Picture is working now.

I hope they find the two criminals that did this to this poor guy.

At this time, the reward is up to 50,000. Dodgers Spokesman Josh Rawitch said Monday the team will contribute $25,000. Giants spokeswoman Staci Slaughter said the team will pledge $10,000.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich previously offered a reward of $10,000 for information leading to arrests in the beating case.

American Medical Response, the paramedic company Stow worked for, is also offering a $5,000 reward.

God hear our prayers on the recovery of Bryan Tow.

Emma,
This is one of those things that just make you shake your head wonder what caused it, or promoted such a violent act. Rivalries are one thing, but taken it into the physical realm without provocation or an assault with a weapon is inexcusible.
Just like the two White Sox fans who ran onto the field and assaulted the Royals the justice will be swift for the perps of this crime.
Hopefully something good can come of it all, with Bryan Tow again being able to attend games in the future and having no fear of violence.

The coverage of this incident was fairly miniscule here, so I’m wondering if there was some sort of provocation, or was this guy beaten up simply because he was wearing the other team’s jersey? Either way, to beat the guy unconscious is appalling and inexcusable. Hopefully they find the two suspects and bring them to justice. Keep us posted, Emma!

Rays,
A couple of drunken guys or who knows if they were on drugs. Just a senless beaten by a couple of lunatics that I hope they catch soon. Divisional Rivals who designed the Vin Scully t-shirt I am sporting in my profile is working on one t-shirt of Giants and Dodgers to promote peace and a just a healthy rivalry between the teams.
.
Sue,
Apparently no provocation just that the guy was wearing a Giant jersey. I hated to report this but it had to be done. Our security needs to be beefed up so they can catch idiots like these guys.

Emma: Oh my God that’s horrible. I don’t even know what to say, it’s just disgusting. Poor Bryan. I hope he’s alright.

The reward is up to 100,000.
I heard this morning that witness said the the two rats (ratas con dos patas) fled in a car driven by a woman with a kid. Hope someone comes out with a licence plate and more info.

This is a sad story. I love rivalries, but never would I result to violence like these two idiots. It makes me mad when people do such stupid acts. I hope they are turned in and are punished appropriately. More importantly, I pray that Bryan Tow is able to make a full recovery.

Ron,
Is a very sad story. There is a “Dodger Fans praying for Bryan Stow” at the USC Medical hospital on State tonight at 6: P.M. our time. I am gonna try to make it but with my commute on the train I’ll be around 6:45 if I catch the bus on time.

This was so senseless and sad. Honestly, I think the Dodgers/Giants rivalry is healthy for the vast majority of fans. Real fans keep it passionate but not violent. Those rats aren’t real Dodgers fans, that’s for sure – they’re just thugs who like to wear blue. I hope they find them and throw the book at them. My thoughts are prayers are with Brian Stow and his family.

This is a very simple game…

Kristen,
You said it so well. Oh it was so sad seeing the family at the vigil.
