More Pictures from the InsidetheDodgers Tour
Here are more of the pictures I took from the InsidetheDodgers tour.
Here is me being Joe. I even tried to put my hat on like Joe.
The Dodger bullpen. Josh Rawitch in the picture.
Carol and a fan wearing Ethier’s NL All-Star jersey walking to the seats behind homeplate. Did you know that those seats are closer to homeplate than the pitcher is?
Vin Scully picture inside the Vin Scully Press Box.
In the media area. The one in the white jersey is ITD (InsidetheDodgers) poster Khali.
ITD poster Perumike and his beautiful wife
Josh Rawitch is showing us Dodger organist Nancy Bea’s area. She receives flowers from fans including those orchids to the right. See the plaque to the left says in the next picture.
Here is what the plaque reads. This is one thing I did not read on prior tours.
The View from Vin Scully’s booth. The shades is drawn down a bit so you can’t see the mountains that he so poetically talks about during the broadcast.
Did not notice this board in Vin Scully’s booth before. There is a Babe Ruth cartoon from a newspaper at the top that reads “$#$$$ cheaters”, Brooklyn Dodger announcer Red Barber advertising Schaefer beer, Tommy Lasorda on a camel (poor camel you say?) , old pictures of the old Dodgertown in Vero Beach and other pictures.
Fans looking at the view of the stadium from one of the suites
Inside the suite, The pool table there was used for the 60′s Rat Pack black and white poster with all the Dodger coaches.
Frank Sinatra’s seats (4) and a mural of him in this suite.
I will end this here. I do have more pictures but the next post will be of black and white pictures of Brooklyn Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Hope you all enjoyed the virtual tour.

Emma, great pictures in the last two posts. The ITD tour looks like a lot of fun. I know what you mean about noticing different things each time. I love the quirky shots of all the little details, though I can’t believe you actually took a picture of the bathroom!

Emma,
Fabulous pictures, keep it going. Very much appreciated.
PS: You smile too much trying to be like JT in the dugout.
of course that makes the picture better!
Thanks so much!
Thanks Sue! haha about the bathroom. No way Sue Falsone, the Dodgers physical theraphist uses that!
.
Thanks Koufax63!
I should have done one sleeping against that rail. That would have been funny. Next tour.
Thanks for the tour. My favorite pic was the one of you being Joe in the dugout. Very cute!

Jane,
But if they want me to manage they better get me a better bathroom! LOL.
.
You know it blows being swept by the Padres. Man! Dodgers have been shutout 16 times! Leave it to the Dodgers.
Emma: Wow Vin Scully sure has a lovely view. I see why he’s been doing this for an eternity, lol. Great pics, as always!

Viriginia,
Vin sure has a lovely view. The only thing is that it gets hot there. Thanks Virginia!
I am in Jury Duty in downtown. I’ve been waiting in this room but they already called some of us to report to the 9th floor after lunch. Is 11:50 and we report there at 1:30. They told us the 9th floor is the other room besides the first floor where you come in where it has security check. I wonder why…. I’ll find out why after lunch.

Still make it a priority to take those Stadium Tours every time I hit a new stadium. Not only do you hear and see behind-the-curtain stories and events, but you also get to have your own moment within that bit of history ( sometimes).
Still impressed me when I took the tour in Seattle and saw a photo of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig fishing off Pass-a-Grille Beach, which is 5 miles from my front door.
Tours remind us of just how close these moments are within our grasp, and we might have not even known it.

Cliff,
I have only taken the tour one in Fenway. I should have taken the one at Wrigley Field.
Still, 5 miles awayRays? Wow!
You definitely fit in behind the scenes there, Emma. Perhaps that’s your calling? I dunno… one can always dream, eh?

Maybe we should try a she-fan to manage the Dodgers…for one inning just like they let Vin Scully manage an inning from above many years ago.
Vin Scully’s clip board tell a thousand stories alone! That stuff let’s you into his mind! Love it.

Mike!
Funny that in prior tours, I did not notice the clip board. I love it too! An you are right, it tells a thousand stories! When I got home and saw the pictures, I noticed more things in there that I had not when I saw it personally. I love it!
I am going to ask you about a black and white picture I saw about a Brooklyn Dodger that I don’t know who he is. I will post the picture on another post.
What great pics, and what a great experience. Thanks for sharing.
