It’s The Worst Frickin Loss Of The Year
August 12, 2010 has to be the worst Dodger loss of the year.
Here is my feable attempt at butchering the song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” much like Kershaw’s game got butchered last night.

With the bullpen eight run giving
And everyone telling you to leave Kuo in

With those trip to the mound and crappiest meetings

Kenley is OK Matt. He has several pitches and he will only get better. It all started with Belisario, then Blake, THEN Broxton.

The bullpen is a disaster. It has been weak all year. And Broxton is just not mean enough to be a closer. Look at the Giants. Brian Wilson is one mean SOB. You need to have that streak to be a solid closer.
Even as I follow the Fish, it still REALLY hurts me to see the Dodgers so wounded. They need to trade Kemp for some pitching talent. That of fire Colletti and get Kevin Towers. I mean, Towers built the Padres into what they are, no? And Hoyer is getting all the credit??

Hey. Sorry about the loss the other night. That was pretty gut wrenching. Big John has been have some problems this year. Hopefully he pulls it together. How do you think Kuo will do as the closer in the mean time? I think Joe should use Dotel. He did so well for the Pirates earlier this year. Fingers crossed for you guys.

Great song! My feelings exactly. That game made me so sick that I couldn’t watch the next night’s game, which was another loss 1-0 to the Braves. Our season is done. The Dodgers are truly going back to there Brooklyn roots and playing like Bums or Daffiness Boys.
Can you please tell me what Kensel means?
I saw the post about Ken Burns throwing out the first pitch. He has done that at 4 or 5 stadiums I know of this year, I wonder if that means he is doing it at them all.

I meant Kenley. I don’t know why Matt said that and I followed up with it when I responded to him. Also the MLB servers have a problem where a comment gets ahead of another. At the ITD (InsidetheDodgers) blog, we see it more often with alot of activity there.
Ken Burns has been promoting his new film “The Tenth Inning” so I can see where he is visiting many stadiums. Has he been to St Louis?
