The Cubs at Dodger Stadium. FanFest Weekend.
I spent Wednesday at Anaheim going to the orientation session in order to volunteer for the FanFest.
I have the second shift noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Sunday and Monday. I will try to change Sunday to the 1st shift of 9 a.m. to Noon so that I have time to make it to the game on Sunday.
I left Saturday open since is Photo Day at Dodger Stadium followed by the game. Saturday is also the Poster Day for the Big Blue Wrecking forum.
I am looking forward to meeting PastorKyle and seeing the rest of the posters of the forum. There will be other people there as part of the group for those BBWC posters that could not make it.
Thank you BabyToes for putting this together. Babytoes is also volunteering at the FanFest. Here is Babytoes next to the All-Star Mickey Mouse:
Linda (behindblueeyes) is also volunteering. Here she is also posing with the All-Star Mickey Mouse.
The Cubs are at Dodger Stadium for a four game series. Today is All-Star Andre Etheir action figure. This is figure two (first one was Matt Kemp). The last one will be of Manny Ramirez. It is only for kids 14 and under but let’s see how I can get a hold of one.
They did a video at the stadium of Matt Kemp and the action figure. I can’t wait to see the one with Andre tonight.
And I can’t wait to see Andre at the All-Star game. I will be in the right field side, upper deck.
Let’s Go Dodgers! Is Cub hunting season again!
All-Star FanFest in the works. This guy with the Strasburg jersey is also volunteering.
More All-Star FanFest in the works

Beat them Cubs!! I’ve been away too long Emm. All*Star festivities are right around the corner. I hope you get a lot of neat stuff for volunteering. Wear comfortable footwear!! LOL

We took the first Mike! Thanks to Rafael Furcal and the great pitching of KKKKKKKershaw! He struck out 12 Cubs!
I got my Andre Ethier action figure! Woohoo!
The way Rafael has been playing, he deserved a hero action figure! El hombre esta en fuego!
Thanks Jane! I am taking off soon. The drive from Anaheim to head to Dodger Stadium tonight is going to be bad but I want to go and collect my Dodger Poster. Is a cool one of the young guns that are Kershaw, Broxton and Kuo all dressed like cowboys and the picture was shot where the Think Blue sign is so it looks very realistic.

Jenn.
I love the two figures! The next one is Manny and is going to be another popular that I hope to also get.
Congrats on beating the Cubbies last night! And have a great time volunteering. You’ll be great at it.

FanFest was a blast in Pittsburgh in 2006! I went three days and could still spend more time there. Baseballs finest are surley on display. have a great time volunteering. bet youll make lifetime memories

FanFest was amazing! Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I spent most of my time looking through all the memorabilia and buying pins! Watching the kids play some ball and even listened in on the how to call a game clinic for future umpires. Seems like it’d be a great career! The only woman who was currently an umpire is now retired! Amazing stuff you learn. I also got to make my own Dodgers Rookie baseball card
Matt,
I can imagine that FanFest was a blast in 2006 in Pittsburgh! Wish I would have been there. I am seriously thinking of volunteering for subsequent All-Star FanFest and just taking vacation. I am taking vacation right now to volunteer here so why not in other states.

Lil,
I know Lil! I just wanted to roam around more but I was only taking a short break. Sunday and Monday I’ll have more time before and after my shift. I so wanted to stay and linger all around but had to make it to the game. I love the poster we got with the Young Guns!
Emma – we see the blogging issue and are on it! Thanks for reporting on MLBlogosphere. Hope to have a remedy soon.
